Today was a whole day of All The Things, but some people made it a little bit easier to celebrate. Thank you to everyone who made today a little extra special. 💙💙 A special thank you to Mr. Tom who took me to my favorite dinner in Dallas and didn’t mind the cocktails or the dessert. ☺️

It’s almost #buchedenoel season!!! The @ritzparis Yule log captured me since I read about @francoisperret ‘s work of art in 2019!! I bought his cookbook in 2020, and I’ve been obsessed ever since. Last year, I took a class at the @ecole_ritzescoffier and made my own version. This year? Only time will tell, but I’m excited about the 125th celebration cake and look forward to seeing it!! #ritzparis #pastryparis #lecomptoirparis #barvendôme #placevendome #pastryschool

After a rough Rocktober and an intense start of NO

After a rough Rocktober and an intense start of NOvember… I decided to carve out a few hours to start my favorite season: 🎄🎄 season! For me, the best part of this season is the reminder to be still. My favorite part of the day is when I turn off the lights and sit in the light of the trees, remembering all the memories we’ve made. Each ornament represents a place we’ve been and a memory we’ve made. Putting the trees up is a constant reminder to stop, at least for a few minutes, and appreciate all those moments.

I’m starting off this year’s #ornamentpledgeclass with 2 memories from our summer vacation! #MontStMichel to remember our trip to #Normandy and a #gâteauxesavoie to commemorate my second summer at @ecole_ritzescoffier 🤗 There are certainly more to come, but these two were ready to kick off the start of 🎄🎄 season with me tonight. 🤗☺️

I keep wanting to say something profound about Florence, but it always escapes me. It became my place because it made me whole again at 21/22. And, I love it, and I guess that should be enough.

Thank goodness I married a man who loves it, too.
