Appears to always be on vacation but really just has too many 🎞️📷 to share.

One of the best ways to #passagoodmoment is by get One of the best ways to #passagoodmoment is by getting off the beaten path. While some towns and villages get all the attention, many others are just as beautiful and can offer a more sensory-friendly experience. While the crowds in Alsace can feel overwhelming, towns like #Obernai offer a respite from the crowds.

That’s the beauty of having flexibility while traveling… you can control your experience! 💙 Good travel is hard, and you have to know yourself… and be willing to pivot to find what works for you! 💙⛪️

If you find yourself in Florence for the next few If you find yourself in Florence for the next few weeks, don’t miss the #beatoangelico exhibit at the @palazzostrozzi 🎨 This exhibition brings together pieces from a variety of collections to recreate a number of altarpieces in their remaining form. What I find amazing is that #fraangelico was an early frontrunner to his more famous counterparts, but we (in the US) rarely encounter his work. The dimension and color in some of these pieces are breathtaking. Some of the faces look like photographs!

If you miss it, don’t despair - there is much to see at the #MuseoSanMarco in Florence… or you can go visit Cortona for a few days and take a tour with @valeriatourscortona and learn even more!!

Petition to beg you to skip the day trip to the #L Petition to beg you to skip the day trip to the #LoireValley and send more time exploring. We ended up here because of @secretwinedoor (more on that later!), and, as you know @cave_sd inspired this idea to share more places to #passagoodmoment.

🍷: @cave_sd for all wines red, white, regional, and more. Don’t miss his regional cheeses and charcuterie. The OG good moment happens here. 🍷🧀💙. He’s in #Amboise, and it’s magical all the time.

💤: I am obsessed with @leshautsdeloire for so many reasons. I feel like it truly embodies the spirit of @relaischateaux as a brand, and we’ve had some fantastic meals there, too.

🏰: Don’t miss @chateaudechambord, especially early in the morning. We booked a tour with Sarah via @getyourguide and it truly made #chateauchambord come alive. It wouldn’t have been the same without her. There are so many great towns and chateaus to explore along the way, so take your time and enjoy the experience.

I think this area is best discovered by🚗, but you can take a train, too. This is a great way to #visitfrance🇫🇷 beyond Paris but not go too far.
Hear me out: this might be a long one (and maybe a Hear me out: this might be a long one (and maybe a little controversial). 🤐

Coming out of 2025, one of my more challenging years, I’m choosing a fresh start. I’ve been here before. In 2017, I set a monthly intention to find my way back to myself. I’m doing that again.

This month’s intention comes from my friend Sebastian at @cave_sd: “I wish for you to pass a good moment here.” Wherever you find yourself this year, I hope you can pass a good moment. 💙🍷🌈

Something I’ve noticed recently (especially working with young people and professionals), is how hesitant we are to celebrate joy. To be proud. To shine. We dim ourselves so others feel comfortable. Humility matters… and disappointment is part of life. How we move through disappointment matters even more in the grand scheme of life.

If you’re passing a good moment, please celebrate it. 🎉

Good moments and the appearance of success aren’t just about hard work. That story is incomplete. Success is also about sacrifice (time, ego, comfort, certainty… all of the above). When we ignore those sacrifices, we do a disservice to those trying to find their way and think that good moments are a result of circumstance, not individual action.

The world is full of hard things, and it’s also full of good people trying to help others pass a good moment, wherever “here” is. I see this through my friends at @bakkerij_filip_kuurne, who share not just the beauty of the pastries they make for their community, but the process behind them, too.

My wish for you in 2026: honor the good moments and what it took to get there. 💙🥂

Post your highlight reel if you want. 🎞️ Celebra Post your highlight reel if you want. 🎞️

Celebrate your Scary Tomato award 👻🍅🏆 (okay, that’s for Tom).

Refocus your mind on the people, places, and moments that made you happy. 🫂🐱

Remember the times when people thought about you when you weren’t there and invited you anyway (💙 to @restosacreefleur & @castigliondelbosco).

Sometimes it’s the big things like ringing in the New Year (what a gift to see another one!) at sometimes it’s the little things like singing in @vini_e_vecchi_sapori.

Both are good.

Things aren’t the same as they were in a lot of ways… and it doesn’t mean 2026 can’t be better. Let’s do this. 💙🥂
**insert obligatory comment about how fast this ye **insert obligatory comment about how fast this year went** 😂 This was actually a really fun exercise to look back at a year that often felt like a blur. I can sum it up in 3️⃣ words though: family, friends, and food. 🥺💙
