I am hoping for a smooth long weekend. We’ve got a city break planned for this weekend. I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve spent almost every weekend for the last month doing something related to work, including proctoring two full-length exams on Saturday and Sunday this past weekend. I’m looking forward a break from that.
Can you guess where we’re going based on this photo??

Eating:
We went to Mia’s for dinner twice last week. That made me happy. I love their fajitas. I love them so much that we waited 40 minutes for a table on Friday night. It was worth it. I’ve also been working a few days of fasting into my schedule. I love the mental clarity I get from it. It’s slightly addicting, actually.
Oh, I also took two virtual cooking classes this month. I loved doing that and the food was extra tasty.
Photo Editing:
I am jumping around on editing my photos from the trips we took in 2021. Did you catch my posts on the Bocale winery and Roccafiore wine hotel in Umbria? Today, while proctoring the SAT, I updated my post on where to eat in Paris with some new restaurants and photos from our last meals at the Ritz Bar Vendome. I will take a pastry class there soon.
How long is work like this sustainable? I know it is cutting at your soul.
I hope for a restful weekend for you!
That sucks work is so stressful I know what that is like and yes when you are busy it can be hard to stay on top of things at home. Oh Mia’s looks sooooo good! I love the photos you posted. And Paris…I have not been in almost 2 years I so hope to get back there this year. I will have to check out some of these places.

my work has been hectic too, feeling so tired
Your work situation sounds so stressful and frustrating, I know you’re doing the best you can. Hope things will get easier.
How’s the Hard 75 going? I’ve heard about it but haven’t yet attempted it…. are you able to fit 2x 45 min of exercise in every day? I know I could do it indoors, but the outdoor part is the challenge. Curious to hear more about it!
